We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a reputable feed manufacturing and packaging operation on the overnight shift. This hands-on position plays a vital role in maintaining equipment reliability, ensuring production efficiency, and supporting a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and testing to ensure reliable operation of plant systems and machinery
Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace faulty or inoperative parts and components
Inspect and maintain the physical condition of the plant, warehouse, and equipment
Manage spare parts inventory and anticipate maintenance needs
Perform grounds and facility maintenance as required
Follow all OSHA, FSMA, and company safety procedures and protocols
Support team activities on intermittent weekend shifts as needed

Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or plant environment (feed/food manufacturing experience preferred)
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; welding experience a plus

Support Producers and the Marketing team in servicing commercial lines accounts while minimizing E&O exposure
Process: Renewals, Endorsements, Policy changes and cancellations, Certificates, ID cards, billing requests, claims, and deposit premiums
Review new business, renewals, and endorsements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Maintain and manage client files within the agency management system
Partner with Commercial Lines Assistants to ensure high-quality service and accurate processing
Follow agency workflows, procedures, and documentation standards
Maintain diary/follow-up systems for outstanding items and service requests
Participate in ongoing training, licensing education, and special projects
Collaborate effectively with other departments to support agency-wide goals
Performance Expectations
Commercial Lines insurance experience strongly preferred
Personal Lines experience will be considered with transferable skills
New York State Broker or Producer License required
Exceptional candidates without a license may be supported in obtaining one
Deliver prompt, professional, and cooperative customer service
Provide consistent support and constructive feedback to internal team members and carriers
Maintain a high standard of accuracy, organization, and responsiveness
Qualifications
Approximately 3+ years of insurance experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a computer-based, email-driven environment
