Installation Technician – Fire Suppression & Extinguisher Systems

We are seeking a mechanically inclined Installation Technician to join a growing team providing fire suppression and extinguisher inspection services. With strong demand and ongoing client growth, this is an excellent opportunity to start a hands-on career with training, certification, and the potential to earn over $30/hour with commissions.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect, test, and service fire suppression systems in commercial kitchens and other facilities

• Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers at client sites

• Install new suppression systems and extinguishers for new customers

• Communicate inspection results and provide recommendations to ensure code compliance

• Complete work orders and inspection reports

• Train alongside experienced technicians before transitioning into independent work with a company vehicle

What We Provide

• Paid, hands-on training and certification (including NFPA 10 and system training)

• Company vehicle, gas card, uniforms, tools, and phone provided

• Consistent schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (occasional earlier starts for client needs; home every night except rare training trips)

• Pay: $19–$21/hr DOE plus commission (earning potential $28–$30+/hr)

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools (experience with pipe threading, conduit, or related work a plus)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently after training

• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
