Assembler

Location: Bedford, MA
Pay: $22.00–$26.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM | Overtime opportunities available

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking four experienced Assemblers for a precision manufacturing company in Bedford, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical assembly and soldering experience to work with advanced technology used in medical and industrial applications.

These are full-time positions with potential long-term opportunities. 

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision mechanical and electronic components using hand tools, drawings, and work instructions.

• Perform soldering of wires, cables, and electronic components.

• Inspect finished products, identify defects, and perform rework as needed.

• Operate testing equipment and assist with basic troubleshooting.

• Maintain accurate production and quality records.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

• Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical or electronic assembly experience required.

• Soldering experience strongly preferred; IPC certification is a plus.

• Ability to read assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.

• Experience with optical or electronic components and printed circuit boards preferred.

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, ESD, or 5S practices is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
