Manufacturing Operator

Vernon, NY | $20–$25/hour | 1st Shift

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for an established manufacturing company in Vernon, NY. This position involves operating specialized industrial slicing equipment, inspecting materials for quality, and maintaining safe, efficient production operations.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (some flexibility available)
Pay: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and adjust industrial slicing equipment.

• Measure and inspect materials to ensure quality standards are met.

• Maintain and replace cutting blades as needed.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report production concerns.

• Complete production records and track materials.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Assist with inventory and other production tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.

• Ability to read work instructions and use basic measuring tools.

• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

• Basic computer skills.

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
