Quality Inspector – Manufacturing

Pay: $22-23/hr DOE
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking an experienced manufacturing professional for a Quality Inspector opportunity with an established Syracuse-area manufacturer. This position will primarily support laboratory inspection activities, with cross-training in incoming materials inspection.

The ideal candidate has a solid manufacturing background, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to follow established procedures, recognize potential issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect products, materials, and documentation for accuracy and compliance with established standards.

• Review manufacturing records, drawings, and specifications.

• Document inspection results and identify quality concerns.

• Communicate issues to appropriate team members and support corrective actions.

• Assist with incoming inspection activities as needed.

• Maintain accurate records using computer-based systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience required; electronics manufacturing preferred.

• Ability to understand and consistently follow established processes and procedures.

• Confidence to identify problems, ask questions, and escalate concerns appropriately.

• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills.

• Ability to read technical drawings and use basic measuring tools preferred.

• Previous quality inspection experience is a plus, but not required.
