Machine Operator

Location: Liverpool, NY
Pay: $16.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
 

Sapphire Recruitment is hiring a dependable Machine Operator for a manufacturing company in Liverpool, NY. This is a hands-on production position operating a travel head/die-cutting machine.

Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate production equipment according to job specifications.

• Read job instructions, tape measurements, and basic blueprints.

• Adjust machine settings and materials to maintain quality and accuracy.

• Inspect materials and finished parts for defects.

• Use basic math, including fractions and decimals, to verify measurements.

• Meet production expectations while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Assist with material handling, packing, gluing, and other production tasks as needed.

• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to follow instructions and stay focused on assigned tasks.

• Basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure.

• Good attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
