$27–$33/hour DOE | 2nd Shift

Sapphire Recruitment is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator for a precision manufacturing opportunity. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable independently operating CNC lathes, making routine adjustments, and checking finished parts for accuracy.

What You’ll Do

• Operate CNC lathes to produce precision metal components.

• Load materials, monitor machining operations, and watch for tool wear or performance issues.

• Adjust tool offsets as needed to maintain part specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.

• Maintain proper fluid and oil levels and complete basic machine upkeep.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous CNC lathe operating experience.

• Strong blueprint-reading skills.

• Experience using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers and calipers.

• Ability to make basic machine and offset adjustments.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.

Schedule: Flexible second-shift options may include approximately 3:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. weekdays, four 10-hour shifts, weekend hours, or a combination of weekday evenings and weekends. Scheduling flexibility is available for the right candidate.

Pay: $27–$33/hour, depending on experience.
