Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician ($35-45 p/hr)

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to work for a stable and growing manufacturer in the Auburn, NY area.

Day Shift: M-F 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Duties Include:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and related components.
• Diagnose and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems, instrumentation, controls, and automated equipment.
• Complete work orders, PM documentation, and maintenance records while identifying root causes of recurring equipment issues.
• Support equipment installations, continuous improvement initiatives, and safe operations, including OSHA and lockout/tagout requirements.

Education & Experience:

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or electro-mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of motors, VFDs, controls, and PLCs; Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and read electrical/mechanical schematics and drawings.
• Welding/fabrication experience and knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance practices are preferred.
