We are looking to hire a CAD Engineer to work for a prestigious Manufacturer in the North Syracuse, NY area.

- Opportunity for an experienced candidate to take on increasing responsibility and potentially grow into CAD team leadership/management.
- Create and maintain accurate 3D models and 2D mechanical drawings for custom engineered systems, equipment, and standard product updates.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing to complete drawing requests accurately and on schedule in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Maintain CAD data within Autodesk Vault and develop intelligent models, drawing tools, and processes to improve efficiency and reduce drawing creation time.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within CAD processes, tools, standards, and integration with business systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor preferred; SolidWorks experience will also be considered.
- Strong 3D CAD modeling and 2D mechanical drawing experience; Autodesk Vault or similar CAD/PDM experience is beneficial.
- Programming experience (C, Visual Basic, etc.) and/or 3D printing experience is a plus.
