Maintenance Mechanic – 1st & 3rd Shift

Syracuse, NY | $25–$34.50/hour | Full-Time

Sapphire Recruitment is hiring experienced Maintenance Mechanics for 1st and 3rd shift opportunities with an established manufacturing company in Syracuse, NY.

Available Shifts & Pay:

• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | $25–$30/hour

• 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM | $28.75–$34.50/hour (includes 15% shift differential)

• Training: 3rd shift employees will initially train on 1st shift, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Schedules may vary based on production needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and HVAC-related issues.

• Diagnose equipment problems and minimize production downtime.

• Assist with planned maintenance and equipment shutdowns.

• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production setting.

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

• Experience with industrial machinery and HVAC systems preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
