Consumer Experience Representative
Pay: $19.00/hour

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Consumer Experience Representative for a contract opportunity in Oriskany, NY.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, communicating clearly, and resolving questions or concerns in a professional and thoughtful way. The Consumer Experience Representative will respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, provide product information, process refunds, document concerns, and work with internal teams to help resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls and respond to questions and concerns
• Gather information to understand customer needs and provide appropriate assistance
• Provide accurate product information and usage guidance
• Recommend alternative solutions when appropriate
• Document and resolve customer complaints
• Process refund requests according to established procedures
• Respond to customer inquiries received by email and other communication channels
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, concerns, and recurring issues
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding replacement parts and other customer needs
• Share recurring customer questions and feedback with appropriate internal teams
• Assist with reports related to customer feedback and common concerns
• Work closely with other team members to maintain coverage and complete assigned responsibilities

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, call center, or consumer support experience preferred
• Experience or knowledge related to lawn and garden, horticulture, agriculture, or consumer products is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, patient, professional approach to customer service
• Ability to handle difficult or sensitive customer situations appropriately
• Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
• Ability to learn additional computer systems
• Dependable team player with a strong work ethic

This is a contract-only position paying $19.00/hour.
