Soldering Assembler

Pay Rate: $21-25/hour DOE
Hours: Flexible start as early as 4:00 am, working until 3:00 or 4:00 pm with overtime available

We are seeking skilled Soldering Assemblers with expertise in fine component soldering for a temporary position, with the potential to become permanent. You will be working in a manufacturing environment, performing tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble various on-board components, including SMD, through-hole components, coax, and connectors, using soldering techniques.
• Perform mechanical assembly of connectors, RF cables, pole-line housings, and final products for shipment.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship with good throughput and first-pass yield.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to meet customer requirements.
• Assist at any production step necessary to ensure on-time and complete shipments.
• Review and verify support documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Monitor component inventory and notify the supervisor of potential shortages.
• Remain flexible and productive in a high-paced production environment.

• 1-3+ years of board-level assembly experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with fiber-optics or fiber-optic splicing is a plus.
