Machine Operator – Woodworking

Location: Frankfort, NY
Pay: $19–$20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM; Fridays as needed for overtime
Dress: Casual work clothing and steel-toed boots required

Sapphire Recruitment is hiring a Machine Operator for a manufacturing company in Frankfort, NY. This is a hands-on position working with woodworking equipment, hand tools, and power tools to produce high-quality products.

Candidates with experience in woodworking, carpentry, construction, or manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate new and older woodworking machinery, including molders, saws, sanders, and planers
• Use hand and power tools safely and accurately
• Read tape measures and follow production specifications
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
• Meet daily production goals
• Follow established environmental, health, and safety procedures
• Perform physical work while standing throughout the shift

Qualifications:

• Previous woodworking, carpentry, construction, or related manufacturing experience preferred
• Comfortable using saws, hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to stand for the full shift and perform physically demanding work
