Sales Operations Specialist – Channel Sales
 Remote – Eastern or Central Time Zone Preferred
Pay: $25–$35 per hour
Employment Type: 40 hours per week, Contract through early 2027, potentially through Q1

Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with an established global organization to hire a Sales Operations Specialist for its channel sales team. This position will provide critical reporting, data-management, and administrative support for programs serving distributors and other channel partners nationwide.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales operations professional or a recent business graduate with strong Excel skills. It is not a direct sales role and does not require cold calling or account ownership.

Responsibilities

• Organize, clean, and analyze sales, pipeline, quote, and partner data
• Build and maintain Excel reports and partner-performance summaries
• Extract quote information from PDFs and transfer it into structured spreadsheets
• Support sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
• Track distributor rebates, training participation, and program compliance
• Monitor monthly point-of-sale reporting from channel partners
• Prepare data and reporting for internal PowerPoint presentations
• Identify opportunities to improve or automate recurring processes
• Help prepare clean data for future CRM migration

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data organization
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and manage recurring deadlines
• Experience in sales operations, business operations, reporting, data analysis, or channel support is preferred
• Experience supporting distributors, resellers, or partner programs is helpful but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred; qualified recent graduates will be considered
