Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Sapphire Recruitment is hiring a Manufacturing Specialist for a New Hartford-area manufacturer. This position is currently temporary but may have the potential to continue long term based on business needs and performance.

What You’ll Do

• Perform repetitive production and assembly tasks using a variety of tools, materials, equipment, and fabrication methods
• Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and established procedures
• Set up and perform routine testing on assembled components
• Inspect completed work before it moves to the next stage of production
• Troubleshoot basic production issues using visual and mechanical inspection
• Accurately record production and quality information
• Work closely with team members to meet production and quality goals
• Follow established quality and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of related manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 90 lbs with assistance
