Powder Coater - Production Laborer

Pay: $20–$22/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a dependable, hands-on Powder Coater / Production Laborer for a manufacturing opportunity in Lyons, NY. This is a physically demanding, manual production role for someone who is comfortable staying active throughout the day, following detailed instructions, and helping wherever needed in the shop.

Responsibilities

• Rack and un-rack parts throughout the finishing process
• Prepare and package finished parts for shipment
• Assist with pre-treatment and wash booth operations while wearing required protective equipment
• Use hand and power tools such as drills, sanders, hammers, and power-washing equipment
• Assist with forklifts and overhead crane systems as trained
• Support all phases of shop and production operations as needed
• Follow established safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Perform other production and general labor duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of finishing, manual manufacturing, or production experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods and potentially being on your feet all day
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to wear a respirator and other required PPE
• Reliable transportation required — location is not on a bus line
• Clean, valid NYS driver’s license required

Some overtime may be available based on production needs.
