Assembly Production Assistant / Shipping Project

Location: Syracuse, NY
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Employment Type: Long-term temporary

Sapphire Recruitment is hiring two Assembly Production Assistants for a long-term project with an established high-tech organization in Syracuse.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing hands-on assembly and shipping work in a clean, organized, and very professional environment. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive hand assembly using small stainless-steel screws, nuts, bolts, and other components.
• Accurately place and secure components according to established templates and instructions.
• Count and organize hardware and materials needed for assembly.
• Package completed assemblies for shipment and further processing.
• Prepare materials for shipment to another company facility.
• Assist with general production, shipping, and project-related tasks as needed.
• Maintain an organized work area and follow established procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented hand-assembly work.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Successful completion of a background check.
