We have an excellent opportunity available for a Quality Manager near East Syracuse, NY.

Your Role:
  • Lead and continuously improve the facility's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring processes consistently achieve intended results.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO, Nadcap, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership for the Quality organization, including Inspection, Quality Engineering, MRB, Testing, and Quality Assurance personnel.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by partnering directly with key customers during audits, certifications, corrective actions (CARs), and quality issue resolution.
  • Monitor, measure, and report QMS performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to executive leadership while promoting a strong customer-focused quality culture.
  • Ensure organizational readiness through employee quality training, certifications, audit preparation, and successful implementation of QMS changes.
Experience / Education Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of Quality Assurance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience strongly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, Nadcap, customer quality requirements, audits, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience leading Quality Management Systems, developing quality policies and procedures, and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with executive leadership, customers, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
  • ASQ Certification, Six Sigma Black Belt, and/or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
