- Reinforce classroom expectations and safety procedures.
- Maintain participant records and update databases and tracking systems.
- Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, career exploration events, and off-site visits.
- Communicate schedules, expectations, and available resources to participants.

- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of adult learners.
- Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to recognize developing issues and respond proactively.
- Comfortable receiving direction from different supervisors based on program needs.
- Willingness to learn construction, manufacturing, and technical training concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Valid New York State driver’s license required.
- Comfortable speaking to and providing guidance to small groups.
Experience in construction, manufacturing, skilled trades, workforce development, mentoring, apprenticeship programs, or technical instruction is preferred but not required. Relevant certifications and experience with databases or participant tracking systems are also helpful.
The schedule will change throughout the year based on class schedules. Daytime hours are currently more common, while evening classes are expected to increase beginning in September. Some weeks may include four evening shifts from approximately 3:00–8:00 p.m.
This position includes both classroom and hands-on training environments. Appropriate attire and safety equipment may be required.
