Transit Survey Associates – Temporary Project Work
Location: Rochester NY
Pay: $25/hour
Project Dates: August 12-15 (plus short orientation on August 10)
Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm (hours may vary by day)

Looking to make some extra money and enjoy interacting with people? Join our team as a Transit Survey Associate for a short-term project on the Rochester public bus system! Help gather valuable feedback by administering transportation surveys to riders.

What You’ll Do:

• Ride RTS buses throughout the day, approaching riders to complete a transportation survey

• Surveys take 7–10 minutes to complete (35+ questions)

• Use clipboards and paper surveys (available in English and Spanish)

• Rotate between buses to reach a variety of riders

Ideal Candidates:

• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service oriented

• Comfortable in diverse environments and riding public transportation

• Able to walk bus aisles and climb bus stairs repeatedly

• Willing and able to commit to full-day shifts
