Technical Parts Advisor

Pay: $25–$30 per hour
Position Type: Direct Hire

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Technical Parts Advisor for a direct-hire opportunity with an established manufacturing company.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in HVAC, automotive parts, and equipment parts, or a parts counter environment who enjoys helping customers identify the correct products and resolve technical questions.

Responsibilities

• Assist domestic and international customers with part identification, pricing, quotes, and product-related questions.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to determine whether parts, technical support, field service, or training assistance is needed.
• Enter orders, prepare invoices, maintain records, generate reports, and provide general administrative support.
• Retrieve, package, and prepare parts for shipment.
• Process domestic and international shipments using UPS and FedEx systems.
• Prepare accurate customs and export documentation.
• Provide responsive, professional, and knowledgeable customer service.
• Follow up on customer requests to ensure issues are resolved accurately and promptly.
• Perform additional office and aftermarket support duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous HVAC, automotive, and equipment parts, or parts counter experience strongly preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to understand technical information and identify customer needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to assist with retrieving, packaging, and shipping parts.
