Maintenance Parts Coordinator (55-60K)

We are seeking a Maintenance Parts Coordinator in the Syracuse, NY area.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Tool Room Management

• Manage maintenance parts inventory while maintaining an organized and efficient tool room.
• Organize storage locations, maintain inventory accuracy, and support continuous improvement of maintenance operations.
• Assist maintenance technicians in locating critical repair parts during equipment downtime.

Maintenance Systems & Technology

• Support a major initiative to digitize the maintenance parts inventory and enhance the computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Work Order system.
• Utilize Excel, ERP software, and maintenance management systems to maintain accurate inventory records and system data.

Purchasing & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate purchasing, shipping/receiving, and vendor relationships to ensure timely availability of maintenance parts and supplies.

Project & Continuous Improvement Support

• Partner with maintenance leadership on inventory control initiatives, department projects, and process improvement activities.

Education and Experience:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2-5+ years of experience in a tool room, storeroom, maintenance department, or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and computerized PM/Work Order software.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with maintenance terminology preferred.
• Experience working with vendors, purchasing, or inventory management is a plus.
• Valid New York State Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
