Senior Electrical Engineer (80-95K)

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work for an industry leading manufacturer near the Binghamton, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:          
  • Lead the electrical design, development, and validation of advanced electronic products and interconnect systems
  • Design and review schematics, PCB layouts, and electrical assemblies
  • Develop and execute complex test plans for product qualification and performance evaluation
  • Interface directly with customers to solve technical challenges and develop innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management
  • Support new product development efforts from concept through production release
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on engineering projects
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to continuous product innovation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of electrical design and product development experience
  • Experience with Schematic Capture Tools (Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics PADS or similar)
  • Familiarity with high-speed electronics, signal integrity, or fiber optic communication is highly preferred
  • Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital meters
  • Knowledge of C, C#, Python, FPGA development, or embedded systems is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and project leadership abilities
