Quality Inspector
1st Shift 8:00AM-5:00PM (some flexibility available)
$28/hr DOE

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a growing team focused on assembling high-tech products in a clean, collaborative, and flexible environment. This is a temporary full-time, first-shift position in Syracuse, NY.

What You Will Do:

• Verify product conformance to applicable specifications, drawings, and instructions

• Confirm associated processing documentation has been completed correctly

• Verify product configuration data has been entered accurately into the database

• Enter quality-related data into the applicable database

• Generate documentation to support the processing of non-conforming material

• Communicate process compliance issues to manufacturing and quality leadership

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or similar environment

• Quality-related support experience preferred

• Electronics manufacturing background preferred

• Strong computer skills, including word documents, spreadsheets, and database software

• Working knowledge of basic mechanical measuring tools and dimensional tolerances

• Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with manufacturing and program management personnel to identify and resolve nonconformances

• IPC-A-620 and IPC-A-610 workmanship certifications recommended

• Soldering experience involving J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 recommended

• Familiarity with GD&T, AOI, and X-Ray recommended

• Ability to support overtime on an as-needed basis
