Test Lab Technician - $25- 30 per hour DOE

We are seeking a Test Lab Technician for a 6 month contract assignment with an Electronics Manufacturer East of Syracuse, NY.
This is a 1^st shift opportunity.

• Build and assemble test fixtures, test boxes, and wire harnesses accurately in accordance with defined test project requirements.
• Demonstrate basic working knowledge of hand assembly techniques, including the use of hand-crimping tools.
• Use soldering irons effectively for component and wire assembly tasks.
• Read and interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Assist with the installation, validation, maintenance, and repair of test equipment and related components, along with other assigned tasks.
• Support small testing-related projects, including test equipment improvements, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, under the guidance of the engineering team.

• AAS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related degree.
• Previous experience working in an Electronics Test Lab or related environment.
• Experience reading basic electrical schematics and performing measurements using DMM, oscilloscope, power supply.
