Machine Operator (62512)

HOURS:    
Monday - Thursday (3pm to 1am) - 2nd shift
                     
PAY RATE: $22-24/hr + 10% shift differential 

Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with an East Syracuse based company to find Machine Operators to join their team!

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Set up and operate screw machines to produce parts to specification
• Inspection / Quality Control
• Ensure stock does not run out
• Continuously clean out chips
• Monitor condition of machine and report needed repairs
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of Screw Machine or CNC experience preferred, but will train!
• General computer skills with the ability to learn SAP
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers
• Proficient in reading blueprints and job instructions
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED
