Franchise Development Director
Location: Syracuse, NY area | Hybrid
Travel: Regional travel throughout Upstate New York
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 base salary DOE, plus bonus potential
Sapphire Recruitment is seeking an entrepreneurial, sales-driven Franchise Development Director for a growing Upstate New York brand entering an exciting phase of expansion.
This highly visible role will focus on identifying, recruiting, and developing new franchise partners while working closely with executive leadership on market growth strategy. The ideal candidate is motivated by business development, relationship building, and the opportunity to help scale an established regional brand.
Responsibilities
- Lead franchise growth initiatives across targeted markets
- Prospect, qualify, and recruit prospective franchise partners
- Manage the development process from initial outreach through signed agreements
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
- Conduct discovery calls, interviews, and relationship-building meetings
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing on expansion strategy, brand visibility, and lead generation
- Support process improvements, reporting, and franchisee onboarding handoff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent business/sales experience
- Franchise development experience is a plus
- Strong background in business development, sales, recruiting, account management, or relationship-based sales
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced growth environment
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000–$100,000 base salary depending on experience
