Tool Designer (50-75K + OT)

Due to growth, we have an opening available for a Tool Designer with a leading global manufacturer in the Binghamton, NY area.

Your Role:

• Design tooling, fixtures, gages, cutting dies, bending dies, and custom manufacturing tools using CAD software
• Create detailed drawings and documentation for production and outside vendors
• Perform dimensional analysis and engineering calculations using manufacturing specifications and technical data
• Support tooling improvements, manufacturing optimization, and new product introduction activities
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, process engineering, and continuous improvement teams
• Interface with outside vendors regarding tooling fabrication and purchased components

Background Profile:

• AAS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field preferred
• Experience in tooling, machine shop environments, manufacturing, or related technical positions preferred
• Experience with CAD Software (Pro E, Creo, Solidworks Inventor, AutoCAD)
