Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

Location: Pulaski, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 pm–7:00 am
Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $30.00/hr with $1.00/hr increase after approximately 90 days

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Pulaski, NY. This 3rd shift role is ideal for a well-rounded maintenance professional with strong electrical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience supporting industrial production equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs
• Support scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and equipment improvement projects
• Work with motors, drives, controllers, power distribution, and related systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, equipment manuals, and electrical diagrams
• Perform routine facility maintenance, including filter changes, HVAC support, plumbing, carpentry, and painting as needed
• Analyze equipment issues, document work performed, and support continuous improvement efforts
• Operate safely around ladders, lifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment
• Work closely with team members across departments to keep operations running efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Documented industrial electrical experience required
• Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and instrumentation maintenance in an industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of drives, motors, controllers, and power distribution
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and related programs
• Ability to become fork truck qualified
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Willingness to be on call and support emergency or unscheduled repairs as needed

Preferred Skills

• Manufacturing experience
• Welding ability
• Basic knowledge of fire alarm circuitry
• HVAC troubleshooting experience
