Drop Operator / Assembler
Pay: $17.00 per hour plus 10% second shift differential
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a mechanically inclined Drop Operator / Assembler to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable using basic hand tools, following detailed instructions, and keeping automated production equipment running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support automated production machinery
• Clear basic mechanical faults using hand tools such as Allen wrenches and other equipment
• Perform repetitive assembly and production tasks according to work instructions
• Use gauging equipment as directed
• Verify parts against shop orders and sort materials as needed
• Complete required paperwork and scrap tickets accurately
• Identify and report defective materials, machine issues, or quality concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year of related manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or production experience preferred
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to use basic hand tools
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Able to follow detailed directions and production processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team-oriented and comfortable working in a diverse manufacturing environment
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to support continuous production needs
