Production Technician 
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Production Technician for an entry-level, first-shift opportunity in Auburn, NY. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, follows processes closely, and takes pride in producing quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you’ll do:

• Build assigned products according to schedules, specifications, and standard procedures
• Update job progress in the ERP system and communicate any delays that could impact deadlines
• Perform product testing and accurately record results
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify, tag, and store inventory properly
• Help meet daily production, labor, and cost goals
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and ready for production
• Support other departments and product lines as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

What we’re looking for:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow SOPs, bills of materials, and spec sheets
• Comfortable using an ERP system and completing production documentation
• Dependable, flexible, and able to work overtime when needed
• Team player with a strong work ethic and focus on productivity
• Technical aptitude or manufacturing experience preferred
