Temporary Assignment: 12–16 weeks (with potential flexibility)
Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a temporary, fully onsite assignment in Chittenango. This role supports a small office team and is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience who can quickly learn new processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process bank statements, including scanning and account balancing
- Open, organize, and maintain files; scan and archive documents
- Draft basic correspondence, including asset and creditor letters
- Perform general office duties such as filing, mailing, and document management
- Assist with reception tasks, including gathering client information and handling calls
- Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed
- Support check writing and maintain check registers
- Review and process documents such as obituaries
- Assist with closing and organizing files
Qualifications
- Prior administrative or office experience required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling confidential information and basic financial tasks
- Proficiency with general office equipment and computer systems
- Ability to learn new procedures and software quickly
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Experience
- Background in a service-based office environment (e.g., accounting, administrative services)
- Legal experience is a plus but not required
