Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to support customers in a fast-paced technical environment at an established company. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates or recent graduates looking to build a career in IT. You’ll work directly with customers to troubleshoot, configure, and support point-of-sale systems across hardware, software, and networking environments. THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide phone and email support to resolve customer technical issues
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems
  • Configure and test systems to meet customer specifications
  • Support implementation and setup of point-of-sale solutions
  • Document support activity and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal teams and escalate issues when needed
  • Manage multiple tickets and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
  • Participate in training and assist with onboarding support activities

Schedule & Additional Requirements

  • Onsite role
  • On-call rotation begins after approximately 90 days (about once per month)
    • Includes additional pay (1.5x hourly rate while on-call + daily per diem)
  • Weekend rotation approximately once per month
    • Includes $2/hour shift differential for weekend hours

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
  • Familiarity with Windows environments and basic networking concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work both independently and on a team

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience configuring or supporting POS systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
