Help Desk Analyst / 62335
$17.00–$20.00/hour
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to support customers in a fast-paced technical environment at an established company. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates or recent graduates looking to build a career in IT. You’ll work directly with customers to troubleshoot, configure, and support point-of-sale systems across hardware, software, and networking environments. THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide phone and email support to resolve customer technical issues
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems
- Configure and test systems to meet customer specifications
- Support implementation and setup of point-of-sale solutions
- Document support activity and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with internal teams and escalate issues when needed
- Manage multiple tickets and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
- Participate in training and assist with onboarding support activities
Schedule & Additional Requirements
- Onsite role
- On-call rotation begins after approximately 90 days (about once per month)
- Includes additional pay (1.5x hourly rate while on-call + daily per diem)
- Weekend rotation approximately once per month
- Includes $2/hour shift differential for weekend hours
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
- Familiarity with Windows environments and basic networking concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work both independently and on a team
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience configuring or supporting POS systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
