Are you mechanically skilled and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We have an urgent direct-hire opportunity for a hands-on Production Operations Specialist at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll keep the line running — and when something goes down, you’ll be the one to fix it.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
 
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment — keeping the line moving is your #1 priority.
  • Set up, operate, adjust, and program aseptic filling machines, vial washing/sterilizing equipment, and compounding equipment.
  • Operate tableting, dry filling, and packaging equipment across various production lines.
  • Manufacture sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products, including weighing and batching raw materials in cleanroom environments.
  • Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance; disassemble, clean, and reassemble batch processing equipment.
  • Complete production documentation accurately: batch records, material counts, gauge readings, and error investigations.
  • Support and mentor team members through training and qualification programs.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and manufacturing management to maintain GMP compliance.
 
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
 
  • Associate’s degree in electrical/mechanical technology — or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 2+ years in pharmaceutical production or equipment maintenance (or a comparable manufacturing environment).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and electromechanical systems.
  • Experience with or understanding of PLCs and electrical diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeter).
  • Ability to perform aseptic techniques and work in classified cleanroom environments.
  • Detail-oriented with solid math skills (conversions, calculations, tare weights).
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including various days of the week and occasional 5-day weeks.
