Project Manager – Residential Technical Assistance Programs Location: Remote (East Coast time zone preferred) Job Type: 2-Year Contract Payrate: $45-55/hr DOE
Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager to support residential technical assistance programs focused on high-performance, energy-efficient new construction. This fully remote role will work closely with architecture and design teams, developers, and other market partners to help advance innovative residential building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a pipeline of residential design and commissioning projects
Review project proposals, technical submissions, and deliverables
Analyze project-level data to identify energy savings opportunities and cost impacts
Track project milestones, deliverables, invoices, and related documentation
Collaborate with design teams, developers, and industry stakeholders to support program participation and market engagement
Conduct market research on building design trends, innovations, and best practices
Help identify projects suitable for case studies and success stories
Participate in team meetings and support process improvement efforts
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, building sciences, energy, or a related field
3–6+ years of project management experience, preferably in building design, construction, or clean energy
Strong understanding of residential construction, including single-family and multifamily building types
Knowledge of high-performance building strategies and certifications such as Passive House, LEED, or similar
Experience managing schedules, budgets, deadlines, and deliverables
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Salesforce, SharePoint, Webex, and Asana
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
