Manufacturing Associate – Machine Shop / 62220
$19.23 – $24.03/hour (DOE)

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Associate – Machine Shop to support a growing production team in Syracuse, NY. This entry-level role assists with basic machine shop operations and supports manufacturing processes in a precision production environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
(30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks)
 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain shop equipment including punch presses, grinders, drill presses, and shears

• Perform basic mechanical tasks using hand tools

• Maintain accurate production records and documentation

• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing best practices

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

• Participate in training and skill development to support technical growth

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• At least six months of metal shop or manufacturing experience preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
