Process Engineer – Electronics Manufacturing (65–80K+)

We are seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations for an established electronics manufacturer in the Syracuse, NY area. This role focuses on supporting PCB assembly equipment, improving production processes, and helping ensure efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for electronics assembly equipment.
• Troubleshoot SMT, selective soldering, and wave soldering equipment.
• Monitor production operations to ensure proper equipment performance and operator effectiveness.
• Analyze assembly processes and implement equipment optimization and process improvements.
• Support prototype builds, new product introduction, and manufacturing process development.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to resolve production and scheduling challenges.
• Serve as the site ESD Champion, maintaining ESD monitoring equipment and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly environments.
• Knowledge of SMT equipment, soldering systems, or high-speed assembly equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
