Project Manager – P-12 Clean Energy Construction Programs
Long-Term Contract (5 years)

Remote (Northeast Region) | Occasional Travel (1–2x/year)

Join a high-impact team supporting P-12 clean energy installation and retrofit initiatives across the Northeast. This role will manage multiple installation projects tied to ~$290M in existing and future commitments, ensuring projects are executed smoothly from kickoff through closeout. You may also help shape a new P-12 insulation program.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage large, complex, long-term construction/installation projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop and manage contracts; own project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for schools, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Resolve project issues/conflicts quickly and professionally
  • Build and maintain project tracking, reporting, and performance updates
  • Recommend process improvements and support evolving program strategies
  • Manage contractors and program support agreements
  • Support development of PONs/RFPs and participate in program effectiveness evaluation
  • Perform advanced data analysis to support reporting, improvements, and new initiatives
  • Collaborate via virtual meetings and multiple communication platforms
What We’re Looking For
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale construction projects (multi-site, multi-year preferred)
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing contracts and managing project agreements (scope/schedule/budget)
  • Energy-related technical knowledge of the P-12 school sector
  • Comfortable assessing technical documentation (including design documents)
  • Strong analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and technical/process writing skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), O365, Teams
  • Familiarity with project tools/systems such as Salesforce, Asana, SharePoint, Oracle/PeopleSoft (preferred)
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Mathematics, Natural/Environmental Science, or related field
