Validation Technician ($25 - 30 p/hr)

We are seeking a Temporary Validation Technician to work for an established high-technology Manufacturer East of Syracuse, NY. This is a 1^st shift opportunity.

Key Duties Include:

• Build and assemble test fixtures, test boxes, and wire harnesses accurately in accordance with defined test project requirements.

• Demonstrate basic working knowledge of hand assembly techniques, including the use of hand-crimping tools.

• Use soldering irons effectively for component and wire assembly tasks.

• Read and interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.

• Assist with the installation, validation, maintenance, and repair of test equipment and related components, along with other assigned tasks.

• Support small testing-related projects, including test equipment improvements, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, under the guidance of the engineering team.

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.

• 1+ years of experience in the test / equipment environment, preferred automotive field.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel).

• Some experience reading technical drawings, and engineering specs.

• Experience reading basic electrical schematics and performing measurements using DMM, oscilloscope, power supply.
