General Laborer (2 Openings)
Liverpool, NY | Monday–Friday 6:45am–3:15pm | Occasional OT
$18–$23/hour DOE
 

Sapphire Recruitment is hiring two General Laborers to support an established machine shop in Liverpool, NY. You’ll assist the shop team with hands-on production support, parts finishing, and keeping the work area organized. This is a strong opportunity to work toward a machining apprenticeship and build a long-term career.

What You’ll Do

• Follow drawings or verbal instructions to complete production tasks

• Operate/support equipment (including band saw) and help distribute inventory

• Feed metal parts into machines and remove finished products

• Deburr and finish parts (remove sharp edges/burrs)

• Assist with coolant monitoring/maintenance

• Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role

• Interest in machining and willingness to pursue an apprenticeship

• Ability to comply with drug screening and other pre-employment requirements
