Installation Technician (Van Upfitting) 

Pay: $20/hour plus potential OT on Saturdays
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM 

A growing Liverpool-based business that upfits work vans is adding an Installation Technician to support expansion. This team installs shelving, ladder racks, and wiring in vans for trades such as HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical services. No direct experience required—training provided—but mechanical ability is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test shelving and ladder rack systems to specifications and safety standards

• Assist with basic wiring installs as needed (training provided)

• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and instructions

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and ensure quality installation fit/finish

• Collaborate with the team to complete installs efficiently

• Follow company policies and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools (experience is helpful but not required)

• Ability to understand technical manuals/blueprints

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred/required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry tools and equipment

• Comfortable working in confined spaces and around vehicles

• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work physically throughout the day

• Comfortable working at heights when needed
