Purchasing Manager 

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 + Profit Sharing

Reporting directly to the VP of Global Supply Chain, you will lead a high-performing team of Buyers to optimize inventory, strengthen global supplier partnerships, and drive cost competitiveness across multi-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Coach and develop a team of Senior and Technical Buyers to achieve peak performance.

• Strategy: Align purchasing execution with SIOP objectives, production forecasts, and long-term growth.

• Operations: Own inventory performance (working capital, turns, and accuracy) and ensure material availability.

• Partnerships: Lead high-stakes negotiations and develop robust sourcing strategies to drive cost savings.

• Innovation: Leverage ERP data and Lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive procurement/supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Leadership: Proven track record of managing and mentoring procurement professionals.

• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in ERP/MRP systems, supplier negotiations, and cost-reduction initiatives.

• Bonus: CPIM, CSCP, or Lean certifications are highly valued.
