Extrusion Technician
$27-34/hr DOE

12 hour shift, 5am-5pm

Rotating Shift Schedule

• Week 1:  Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday; off Wednesday-Friday
• Week 2:  Wednesday – Friday; off Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in East Syracuse, NY to find an Extrusion Technician to be a key player on their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Walk-through the facility and review performance data of the extrusion process equipment
• Perform maintenance on automated extrusion systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and pneumatic systems
• Assist in equipment setup and installation
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure uninterrupted operations

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or relevant Technical Certification
• Minimum of five (5) years of technician experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with PLC controls, electrical hand tools, and precision measuring devices
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic circuits, PLC's, electrical circuits, electrical machinery, and human-machine interfaces
• Dedication to minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous production

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $27.00- $34.00 per hour. This is the reasonable estimate for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Pay could be more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
