Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with a mission-driven human services organization to hire a Residential Program Supervisor. This leadership role oversees residential programs supporting youth and young adults, ensuring high-quality care, staff guidance, and safe daily operations.

Schedule & Availability

• Primarily daytime hours with flexibility

• Participation in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately one weekend per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support residential staff to ensure safe, consistent, and effective care

• Supervise, coach, and schedule staff 

• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

• Oversee daily operations, documentation, incident reporting, and communication with internal departments and external partners

• Respond to safety concerns and provide leadership during crisis situations

• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage as needed

Qualifications

• Human services experience required; residential supervisory experience preferred

• Demonstrated leadership and staff supervision skills

• Degree preferred but not required

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, youth-focused environment

• Willingness to learn and coach staff in behavioral management and crisis intervention models (training provided)

• Valid NYS driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and respond physically during crisis interventions as needed
