Maintenance Mechanic / 62026
$37.20/hour + shift differential

Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with a growing manufacturer to hire skilled Maintenance Mechanics for 2nd and 3rd shift openings. This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced production environment.

Shifts Available

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems

• Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and install mechanical and electromechanical equipment

• Support and optimize production processes to minimize downtime

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

• Fabricate and repair components including guarding, platforms, conveyors, and structural items

• Work safely around energized equipment and follow all plant safety procedures

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and keep work areas organized

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude with at least 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience with seamers is highly preferred (but not required); strong overall mechanical ability is essential

• Working knowledge of motors, drives, transmission systems, pneumatics, basic electrical systems, and controls

• Ability to weld common materials and use industrial shop and millwright equipment

• Comfortable using test equipment such as volt/ohm meters and micrometers

• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and troubleshoot issues logically

Work Environment

• Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and industrial hazards

• Requires use of appropriate PPE and adherence to safety standards
