We are hiring for an established aerospace and defense electronics manufacturer looking for a technically grounded Engineering Manager.
This isn't a role where you’ll sit in meetings all day, you will remain the final technical authority for a multidisciplinary team, ensuring electronics meet the rigorous standards required for defense applications.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead & Mentor (70%): Direct a multidisciplinary team of Electrical, Mechanical, and Computer Engineers. You’ll be responsible for resource allocation, setting priorities, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Technical Oversight (30%): Act as the "voice of reason" in circuit design reviews and schematic approvals. You’ll partner closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure designs are optimized for production.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Program Managers to hit delivery metrics without compromising on engineering integrity.

What We’re Looking For
  • The Foundation: BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (MS is a plus).
  • The Experience: 5–10+ years in electronics engineering, specifically within a Senior, Lead, or Tech Lead capacity.
  • The Technical Breadth: Strong hands-on experience in circuit design and schematic review. You should be comfortable "talking shop" with EEs, MEs, and CEs alike.
  • The Mindset: A genuine desire to pivot into formal people management while staying close to the hardware.
