Finishing & Assembly Technician / 62001
$18–$19/hour

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a reliable Finishing & Assembly Technician for a short-term project in Syracuse, NY. This is a first-shift opportunity with the potential to become temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

• Duration: 1–3 months (may become temp-to-hire)

What You’ll Do

• Open, sort, and repack boxed inventory for distribution

• Assemble and kit components and finished products

• Perform basic electrical motor wiring and component assembly

• Apply labels, stickers, and package finished goods

• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently

• Track work and create labels using computers or tablets

• Inspect materials and finished items for quality

• Move and stock materials; some lifting over 50 lbs required

• Support additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Dependable attendance and positive attitude

• Team-oriented with good communication skills

• Knowledge of safe lifting practices

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing or assembly experience

• Familiarity with hand and power tools

• Electrical wiring experience

• Exposure to lean manufacturing concepts
