Calibration / Instrumentation Technician (1st Shift) – $23–$25/hr (DOE)
Looking for a hands-on technical role where you’ll work with a wide variety of instruments and equipment? Our client is hiring a Calibration / Instrumentation Technician to support laboratory and manufacturing operations through routine inspection, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of critical measurement equipment.
What You’ll Do
Calibrate and test equipment and instruments (electronic, pressure, temperature, etc.)
Perform routine inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of meters, gauges, and measuring devices
Document calibration results, records, and reports in line with quality standards
Support development and updates of test specifications, electrical schematics, and SOPs
Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate outside vendor calibration visits
Assist with audits and provide technical support as needed
What We’re Looking For
Strong computer skills and comfort with Windows-based software (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Project, and similar tools)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (technical writing experience required)
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to troubleshoot effectively
Able to work independently, collaborate across teams, and train others when needed
Comfortable learning a large library of calibrations (70+ instruments)
Education & Experience
Associate Degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, or Mechanical Engineering
0–2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
