Sapphire Recruitment is seeking an experienced Material Planner to support a growing manufacturer by coordinating materials, production requirements, and customer demand. This role serves as a key link between sales, procurement, and operations to ensure accurate planning, efficient workflow, and strong inventory control.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and manage materials to support production schedules and customer orders

• Enter and maintain sales orders, work orders, and purchase order data in the MRP system

• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials

• Manage inventory levels, monitor demand trends, and resolve shortages or changes

• Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support cost and usage accuracy

• Improve kitting processes and workflow efficiencies

• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions to support a strong MRP structure

• Track production volume and report on supply chain performance

What You Bring

• 6+ years of related experience in manufacturing or supply chain planning

• Strong understanding of MRP systems (Sage and MISys highly preferred)

• Proficiency in inventory management practices

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required
