Facilities Maintenance
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (may start as early as 5:30 a.m. for snow removal)
Pay: $18.50–$20.00/hour DOE

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Associate to support building upkeep, light repairs, and grounds care across a busy facility in New Hartford, NY.  This is a contract position expected to last 3-6 months.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform general maintenance and light repairs (sheetrock, painting, basic plumbing)
• Maintain cafeteria grease trap controls and sanitize café between team uses
• Service and repair bathrooms (fix leaks, clear blockages)
• Keep grounds and entrances clean; clear snow and apply salt in winter
• Collect and stage recycling daily; deliver printer paper to departments
• Support facility projects; communicate needs to Facility Manager; other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• General maintenance experience in a work facility
• Sheetrock/painting skills and basic plumbing knowledge
• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently
